How It All Began
Meeting the Master: The Birth of an Idea
Our journey began with a chance encounter. A legendary Master Distiller from the Scottish Highlands, visiting Brisbane, met me at my place.
After he sampled many of our different oud oils, I let him try one more. As the complex aroma unfolded, his eyes widened. "By the peat bogs of Islay!" he exclaimed, "This is astounding. It has the soul of a fine, aged peated Scotch."
That moment was our inspiration. We realised the profound connection between these two worlds of luxury. In honour of that meeting, we named this creation "The Peated Oud," a tribute to the character of peated whisky and the timeless allure of pure Oud.
