Tom participated in a stress-reducing through aromatherapy meet up. When the host started pulling out his incense-burning utensils, accessories and incenses, Tom was immediately drawn to them. The host explained and showed how to use incense with his tools and a brief history about incense.

The host began to burn some resinous agarwood powder. The room slowly began to fill with a sweet, woody aroma that immediately transported the attendees to a place of calm and tranquillity. The atmosphere became one of warmth and openness, and the faces of the participants began to relax.

As they continued the ceremony, participants sank into deep relaxation. The agarwood incense had created an almost meditative atmosphere that allowed them to let go of their stresses and focus on the moment. Even the usually uncomfortable and impersonal seminar room became a haven of peace and serenity.

By the end of the ceremony, the transformation was remarkable. The participants left feeling rejuvenated and energized, armed with new tools to tackle the stresses of their everyday lives.

As for me, Tom discovered a new way to bring a sense of tranquillity to any situation. All thanks to the power of agarwood incense.

Agarwood has "uplifted" the energy in the room.

The "energy" I describe here refers to a non-physical force or power which are believed to exist within living beings and the natural world. This concept is often associated with energy healing and meditation, where the aim is to balance or manipulate the energy fields in the body or surrounding environment. In this context, energy is often described as being of a higher, more subtle or spiritual nature, which cannot be measured by conventional scientific means.

Regarding spiritual energy, there are many ways to bring positive vibes into your life. One method that is often overlooked is using agarwood. This powerful tree resin has been used for centuries in many cultures for its ability to purify and uplift the mind, body, and spirit. Today, we will explore how agarwood can be used as an energy healer and how it can help you create a more positive outlook on life.

What are negative and positive energy?

Negative and positive energy are nothing more than states of being. People can experience negative energy when negative thoughts or events occur, causing a negative mood or atmosphere. Positive energy, similarly, occurs when someone is happy, enthusiastic, and feeling good in their environment - their aura exudes positive vibes. Both negative and positive energy are inevitable in life, as they help shape our lives by teaching us lessons and influencing us forward into better states of being. Although negative energy may seem overwhelming initially, it can also provide an opportunity for personal growth and the development of new solutions that have the potential to overcome even the toughest challenges.

Positive energy typically refers to a person's experience of positive emotions, such as joy, contentment, and happiness. Positive energy can also refer to a person's sense of motivation, hope, and resilience and their ability to engage in positive coping strategies and maintain healthy relationships. Positive energy is generally associated with better mental health outcomes, including improved self-esteem, lower levels of stress and anxiety, and greater overall life satisfaction.

On the other hand, negative energy in mental health is typically associated with negative emotions, such as sadness, anger, and fear. Negative energy can also refer to a person's negative thought patterns, such as ruminating on negative events or expecting the worst outcomes in every situation. Negative energy can have detrimental effects on a person's mental health, leading to symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and feelings of hopelessness.

It's important to note that both positive and negative energy are a normal part of the human experience, and it's natural for people to experience both types of energy at different times. However, when negative energy becomes persistent and starts interfering with a person's ability to function daily, it may be a sign that they need professional support from a mental health provider.

When a person is experiencing negative emotions, such as misery or sadness, which are intense enough, they can create an overall negative atmosphere in a room or social setting. This can impact the mood and behaviour of those around them, leading to a "domino effect" of negative emotions and behaviours.

Have you ever entered a room that has people quarrelling before?

For many people, entering a room where people have been quarrelling can be a very uncomfortable and stressful experience. The tension in the air can make people feel uneasy, anxious, and even afraid. This is an example of negative energy.

Perhaps you have experienced some negative energy before. Here is what I mean:

A miserable person sits next to you, and he complains all the time. Shortly, you "pick up" the negative vibe and become miserable. Even if that person leaves, the sense of unease, tension, and anxiety stays with you.

How can Agarwood be used to bring positive energy into your home?

In Vietnam, there is an old ritual called "đốt phong long" - literally means "burning the dragon wind".

Here is an example of how it is used

In the morning, a customer visits an open market and enters a store as the first customer. However, after a few minutes, the customer leaves without making a purchase. Due to an old belief, the store owner may feel upset, thinking that if the first customer doesn't buy anything, a negative atmosphere is created, and then the rest of the customers will be discouraged from buying or may not buy as much.

To solve this issue, the store owner may burn incense. This incense can be made from sandalwood, Agarwood or even a mix with other incense ingredients. The smoke from the incense will "purify" the air and attract positive energy.

The aroma of wood instantly calms her down and brings a positive vibe back.

Agarwood is a unique woody aroma that can transform the energy in your home for the better! Its scent is said to bring about positive moods and calm, allowing you to feel more relaxed and happy. Burn some Agarwood incense in your living space, light a few aroma sticks, or diffuse essential oils to fill the area with its special aroma. Not only will this create a delightful scent, but it will also invite an abundance of positive energies into your home. Make use of this incredible aroma and enjoy all the amazing benefits that come with it!

I have witnessed this many times. In Australia, some Muslims burn Agarwood and bakhoor when guests visit their houses.

Burning agarwood is often seen as a way to honour and show respect to guests in the home. The fragrance is believed to have a calming effect and create a welcoming atmosphere and is seen as a sign of hospitality and generosity. In addition, agarwood is also believed to have a number of medicinal and therapeutic properties and is sometimes used in traditional Middle Eastern medicine to treat various ailments. The fragrance brings positive energy and a pleasant atmosphere. It brings happiness.

The use of agarwood for hospitality purposes is deeply ingrained in Middle Eastern culture and is seen as an important part of social etiquette. Burning agarwood for guests is also seen as a way to demonstrate one's social status and sophistication, as agarwood is a highly prized and expensive commodity in many parts of the world.

Scientists show that Aquilaria leaves contain a variety of chemical constituents, such as 2-(2-phenylethyl) chromones, phenolic acids, steroids, fatty acids, benzophenones, xanthonoids, flavonoids, terpenoids, and alkanes. These ingredients may be associated with various beneficial pharmacological properties, such as analgesic, anti-arthritic, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antitumor, antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, antidiabetic, antihistaminic, lipid-lowering, laxative, acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory and hepatoprotective effects.
